When in Dumaguete

One summer weekend, we decided to travel to Dumaguete as a gateway to Apo Island, a turtle (pawikan) marine sanctuary and a top diving spot, and to get to Balinsasayao Twin Lakes. Also, Dumaguete City is a wonderful destination for a foodie. There are lots of great restaurants, especially around their coastal boulevard. Just another weekend at South Cebu : Exploring Samboan, Ginatilan & Boljoon

I had been to different parts of the country, but I haven’t seen this part of our hometown yet. So to finally visit here turn out to be one of the best weekends! We had snorkeling fun near-shore in Samboan. Had a wonderful time in Aguinid Falls. Enjoyed dipping into the cold waters of Inambakan Waterfalls. Learned some history through Boljoon Church Museum and paid a quick visit inside their baroque church considered for UNESCO World Heritage Site.
